We are delighted to announce the resounding victory of KH Puttaswamy Gowda (KHP), son of the Late Sri Honne Gowda, in the recent elections for the Gauribidanur taluk. KHP emerged triumphant with an impressive margin of 37,286 votes, securing the trust and support of the people. Alipur, being an integral part of the taluk, contributed significantly to his success, with a remarkable total of 3,516 votes.
On this momentous occasion, KH Puttaswamy visited Alipur for the first time since assuming office on the auspicious day of May 17, 2023. A jubilant victory rally, starting from Mustafa Hussain Circle and culminating at Alipur Bazar, welcomed our newly elected Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) to our vibrant village. The rally was a testament to the overwhelming joy and pride felt by the residents of Alipur, who played an essential role in KHP’s triumph.
Following the rally, KH Puttaswamy was graciously invited to the office of Anjuman-e-jafria, where he received warm felicitations and heartfelt congratulations.
